Mamoru Yokota (横田守) is a Japanese anime illustrator, and character designer, and producer. Yokota has worked on an array of projects in games, anime, and live-action. He served as an artist and designer on a number of adult games from Elf and other developers. He planned the movie adaptation of Visual Art’s/Key’s Air and served as a producer on the 2002 television adaptation of Kanon. He oversaw the animation in several episodes of Death Note and most recently supervised the production of Macross Frontier and the absurd school comedy Gokujyo. Gokurakuin Joshi Kōryō Monogatari.
